South Deep and FSE Partner for COVID-19 Support

At South Deep we acknowledge the additional needs sparked by the coronavirus and we continue to assist our host communities during the national lockdown in any way we can. In particular, our efforts are focused on supporting those who are most vulnerable at this time, such as the 40 homeless people housed at Westonaria Sports Complex.

In April 2020, in partnership with the Federation for a Sustainable Environment (FSE), we donated food, sanitary and hygiene items for two NGOs that assist the Rand West City Local Municipality by distributing these products to the community. The two NGOs are Philani Development Centre and Pillar of Strength. We sincerely appreciate those partners, such as FSE, who continue to work with South Deep during these unprecedented times as we look to relieve some of the hardships faced by our host communities.
